The Fietsersbond Routeplanner has been the most complete bicycle route planner in the Netherlands since 2006. Hundreds of volunteers display the changes to the cycle path network every day, so that the users of this planner are always advised a tailor -made cycle route. Use one of the route types for this:
- Easy cycling (most used!)
- Shortest route
- Racing bike route
- Recreational route
- Nature route
- Car -free route
- Network bicycle junctions
- Network National Cycling Routes (LFs)
- Combination bicycle networks (nodes and LFs)
- Strooiroutes
- Bicycle conscious
In the app, the user can plan his own cycle route, from any location to any location in the Netherlands. It is also possible to plan a bicycle round, possibly with the help of the bicycle junctions.
Spoken navigation, as well as navigation by means of arrows on the screen are possible. This was made possible in part by the Friends Foundation on the bike.
By creating a (free) personal account via the desktop version, bicycle routes mapped out on the desktop version can be called through the app. You can read how that works.
