Password Safe is the open-source solution for your Password Safety.
Lots of services (cash-related in particular) urge you to set up an unique password for them, pushing the responsibility of account safety to yourself. However, with a dozen of cards in your wallet and hundreds of websites in your bookmark, setting up individual passwords for each and every of them is just mission impossible. This is where Password Safe come to rescue.
Password Safe stores all your passwords in encrypted form. Since you no longer need to memorize the passwords, you can make them complex and unique. We can even generate random ones for you.
Password Safe stores all your data locally. It never sync to web as most modern apps do. Instead, we provide manual backup/restore mechanism. This may sounds app in the 90s, but is crutial for us to maintain your Password Safety. Websites (including famous ones) are constantly being hacked every year. Internet is just not the right place to store your passwords. Data synchronization is convenient. But password is the rare case where we would exchange convenience for safety. We promise we will absolutely not upload any data to any server. We don't even bother to request for the network permission. This means we simply cannot upload a single bit of data to the internet.
