This app will give you peace of mind that you’re connecting to a secure UPC service.
What is it?
With the Secure Connect app, your favourite Android device is protected against any unauthorized Wi-Fi networks posing as a UPC WifiSpots or Wi-Free access point.
How does it work?
The app installs a Wi-Fi profile on your Android device. This profile recognises the network and ensures your device only connects to a genuine UPC WifiSpots or Wi-Free network.
Who can use this app?
This app is for all UPC internet customers who use an Android device to connect to the UPC WifiSpots or Wi-Free network.
The app will install three Wi-Fi profiles: UPC WifiSpots, Horizon Wi-Free and UPC Wi-Free, allowing you to safely use the service at home and in other UPC countries.
How do I install Secure Connect?
Simply download and install Secure Connect from the Google Play store on your favourite Android device.
Then, run the app to install a Wi-Fi profile. You must have a screen lock set on your device to log into the Secure Connect App. If you do not already have a screen lock set, you will be prompted to do so when you first log into the app.
Finally, enter your WifiSpots or Wi-Free username and password to complete the install of the Wi-Fi profiles.

Secure Connect is compatible from Android version 2.x and above.
WifiSpots and Wi-Free can still be used without this app.
Once the app has been run and the profile is successfully installed, the app can be deleted. The profile will remain installed.
