The objective of this 31 game is to gain a hand with a point value as close as possible to 31.

The game is played with four players and each gets 3 cards. The Ace is 11 points, the face cards 10 points and all the other cards count face value. Each player have to collect a hand value of 31 (or the closest to it) in the same suit. 3 of the same cards are 30, 5 points in value. If a player passes the game stops after all other players have one final turn.
The player on the dealer's left has the first turn. On each turn, a player may take one card from the widow and replace the card with one card from his hand.
Players take turns, clockwise around the table, until one player is satisfied that the card values he holds will likely beat the other players. He indicates this by pressing on the button. All other players then get one more turn to exchange cards. Then there is a showdown in which the players reveal their hands and compare values. The player with the highest total value of cards of the same suit wins the pot.
The hand winds down to a close once one player pressing the button rather than drawing a card. This press will end the player turn and also indicate that their hand is a high value. The other players get one more turn to improve their own hands, and then everyone reveals their cards.
Alternately, player can declare Thirty one at almost any point in the game. If they receive Thirty one on the deal, they must declare this or if after drawing and discarding they reach Thirty one, they must immediately make this known.
