Apparently spelling words in reverse is a practical application of NEUROBICS --- mental exercises designed to create new neural pathways in the brain by using the senses in unconventional ways. Instead of trying out new brain exercises every so often, why not just learn new words and try to reverse-spell? No need to look elsewhere. Languages (and hence, words) are always evolving - surely they must be a treasure trove for neurobics!
“Semordnilap” - A word, phrase, or sentence that has the property of forming another word, phrase, or sentence when its letters are reversed (Wikipedia). Let's see if you can spot some of them!
BACKWORD - Any word spelt in reverse. It's not an official word, by the way. We do believe we coined it, though. Coz, why not? :)
